The Oakleigh Market & shopping precinct comes alive on Saturday mornings!!
Join us for a mouth watering food tour as we open ‘secret doors’ to uncover a rich & diverse Hellenic cuisine & culture.
Start with a Greek coffee and freshly baked biscuits and pastries from one of the best Greek zaharoplasteia (bakers) in Oakleigh before visiting several colorful and bustling family owned Greek food stores. Onto a butcher for the best organic meats and loukanika (greek sausages) then continue with a taste of Greek olive oils, cheeses and dry preserved goods.
Step into the Aegean with our delightful fishmonger and finish with a ‘cooked-with-love’ banquet style lunch at our favorite Greek cafeteria.

……Opa!
Cost: $89 per person (including lunch)
Next departing:
Sat 18 September 2010, 9.30 to 3.30pm
