Embark on a journey through Oakleigh, Melbourne’s vibrant Greek food epicentre,
smelling and tasting as we go…then into the kouzina (kitchen), with all our goodies,
to cook up a Hellenic storm fit for the gods!
Experience authentic Greek ingredients, flavours, techniques and hospitality.
Relax, immerse yourself and soak up all the smells, colours, sounds and tastes of the
authentic Greek kitchen – this is one Greek feast you will not want to miss!
α) A walking shopping trip to and from Oakleigh to source some of our fresh ingredients for the day (Saturday classes only due to Oakleigh Market trading hours)
β) 4 – 5 dishes cooked (with love) using fresh, certified organic or home grown (where possible) ingredients sourced locally and from Greece.
γ) A delicious full sit down meal.
δ) One standard glass of imported Greek wine or retsina, mineral water, organic coffee, Greek mountain, loose leaf or herbal tea, traditional Greek coffee &/or frappé.
ε) One recipe booklet containing all of the recipes cooked on the day, including produce information and supplier contacts.
ζ) Optional class participation.
η) Aprons are provided by The Sweet Greek – no need to bring your own.
